Shipping policy

1. Where we ship

We currently deliver to all mainland UK postcodes (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland). For the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Scottish Highlands & Islands, or BFPO addresses, please emailβ€―info@becoolrefrigeration.co.uk for a manual quote before ordering.

2. Shipping services & prices

*Transit time begins once your parcel has left our warehouse (see β€œHandling time” below). Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

3. Handling time & dispatch

  • Cut‑off: Orders placed before 12:00β€―pm UK time ship the same business day whenever possible.

  • Handling: Orders placed after the cut‑off, on weekends, or on public holidays ship the next business day.

  • You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order leaves us.

4. Large or palletised deliveries

Heavy or oversized refrigeration equipment is delivered curb‑side on a pallet. The carrier will call to schedule a delivery window. Please ensure suitable access for a pallet truck; drivers are not authorised to carry items upstairs or over thresholds.

5. Delivery attempts & failed delivery

The carrier will make up to two delivery attempts and will leave a calling card or send an SMS/email if you are unavailable. After the second failed attempt, the parcel may be held at a local depot for collection or returned to us. Re‑delivery may incur a fee equal to the original shipping charge.

6. Loss, damage, or shortages

Please inspect the outer packaging before signing. Note any damage on the carrier’s POD and notify us within 48β€―hours (photos appreciated). Missing items or concealed damage must be reported within 5β€―days of delivery so we can file a carrier claim.

7. Address changes

For security, we can only amend a delivery address prior to dispatch. Once shipped, you can arrange a new delivery date or local‑depot collection directly with the carrier using your tracking link.
